Blaze
Attention adopters:
BLAZE is a 6-7 yr. old roan/brindle American Staffordshire Terrier.
He is a beautiful light brindle roan color with a bit of silver shot
through his dignified face. Blaze was surrendered to us by his owner
to us in August 2004. His owner was moving out of state and could
not take Blaze. He was in the same home with this person since he
was a pup. He was taken from the only home he ever knew and brought
to our shelter. While we are caring for him, it can never replace
the home and love he once knew. He is really a love bug that is very
happy to place a game of toss outside or just cuddle up next to your
feet as you watch TV.
Blaze is a bit wary of strangers at first. However, once he gains
your trust, you have a friend for life. His ideal home would be a
low traffic household with adults and/or teenaged children. He is
fine with cats and some dogs after a slow introduction.
He has been enrolled in our in-house shelter training program which
is giving him the structure he likes and various activities to keep
him busy. He really enjoys following commands, is eager to please
and easily correctable.
Won’t you please help us find a forever home for this very deserving
guy? He does not deserve to spend the rest of his life in a
shelter.
