Chelsea
is a shy, beautiful calico female. She is one of seven cats that
were abandoned on Balmforth Avenue when their owners moved. The cats
were forced outside even though they had always been indoor cats.
DAWS came to the rescue and brought the 7 cats to the shelter. If you
are looking for a companion for your other cats, Chelsea will bond
with them immediately. She loves playing and hanging out with the
other cats at the shelter. She is still timid around people. But with
a bit of patience and TLC, it will be quite rewarding and satisfying
to watch her blossom and learn to love her human family.
Chubby
Cheekers is a black and white male who came to us as a stray. The
streets were harsh to him and he was pretty beat up, raggedy, and a
bit guarded when he first came to the shelter. Now though, he's
feeling good, he likes to be pet, and he thinks the comfy sofa in his
room is just great. A permanent home where he can achieve
couch-potato status would be his dream!

CINDIE
Petite
Cindie is a very pretty tortie female. This cute little girl is
quite shy. Its no wonder since she has been through a lot. When she
first came to us she was suffering from a very bad ear infection but
she is well now and wants to find a nice quiet home where she won't
have to worry about finding herself alone on the street ever again.

CLINT
Clint
is a cute short-haired, grey and white male. He is shy but is
becoming more social with people. He needs a quiet home with someone
who will give him time to adjust. He is wonderful with other cats and
would be a great companion to another kitty in the household.

CODY
Cody
is a petite black and white female. She came to us as a stray from
an abuse site and spent some time in foster care to recover from an
injury. She has blossomed into a sweet girl and can be quite chatty
at times. Now she is looking for her new, safe, home.

COLIN
Colin
is a chubby, grey and white, male tabby with a stubby tail. He is
shy on approach but offer him a treat and you will find a kitty who
absolutely loves petting and tummy rubs! He is a special little guy
who would do best in a quiet, adult home. Colin also loves other cats
and would be a great companion for another cat in the household.
