KITTENS When we rescue kittens we put them directly into foster care which is the best environment for them. We may have a variety of colors and ages of both genders in foster care at any point in time. Kittens can be seen for adoption by appointment. Please describe the type of kitten you're interested in adopting by filling out an application and we will contact you. Applications can be faxed to us at (203)748-6791, or emailed to cats@daws.org, or feel free to stop by the shelter to drop it off.

MIKE Mike is very lonely now that his pal and roommate, Molly, has passed away. Though he's been getting extra attention since her passing, it's still not enough. He needs a home and a family to share his abundant affection with. Could you be the one to give him what he really needs? Mike is a very friendly and loving cat who has Feline Leukemia (FeLV). This means that he would either need to live as the only cat in his new home, or share it with other cats who are also FeLV+. Mike gets along well with other cats, and is especially fond of dogs.
