Cindy Girgenti, who has been a volunteer for eight years, plays a very active role at the Danbury Animal Welfare Society as both an Adoption Counselor and Cat Socializer.
There’s no doubt that 2020 was a difficult year for all of us. When the pandemic hit in March, we had to temporarily suspend transporting, intakes, and reevaluate how we’d move forward. However, during these unprecedented times, we got through!
Karen Pasieka is currently the Puppy Program Foster Coordinator and Intake/Transport Coordinator for DAWS, where she has been a volunteer for over 13 years.
