The First Congregational Church of Bethel and the Town of Bethel are partnering to mark Earth Day with an exciting family-friendly event that they hope will bring together all of Bethel for an exciting and educational day. \nThrough their partnership\, the two organizations have a vision to help create a world where all of creation thrives\, to provide an opportunity for our local community to gather around environmental issues and concerns\, and to promote activism to care for and preserve the Earth. \nThe goal of the Bethel Community Earth Day event is for the community to come together\, to build and support a healthy environment\, to cherish and protect the Earth for future generations\, and to recognize and promote businesses\, non-profit groups and individuals who support green initiatives.
