Maccabee is our DOG OF THE MONTH for April! If you adopt Maccabee this month, his adoption fee is reduced by 25%. He is an adorable 3-year-old chihuahua mix and weighs just 20 lbs. He has the cutest curled tail so maybe he has some pug in him. Maccabee walks nicely on a leash, loves attention and treats and will be happy to curl up on your couch. We think Maccabee would do best in an adult-only home without any cats. He likes to be with people so someone that is home at least every 4 hours would be best for him. When left alone, he might bark so better to live in a house, not an apartment. He is going to make someone a terrific companion, once we find his perfect fit!
