DAWS MAKING A DIFFERENCE GALA – RECORD-BREAKING EVENT!

The Danbury Animal Welfare Society (DAWS) Making a Difference Gala, took place on October 21st at the Amber Room Colonnade in Danbury, CT. A new record was set as we surpassed our event goal and raised over $200,000 for the thousands of animals cared for each year! It was a celebration in honor of Tary Tarlton of Kenosia Development and the upcoming grand reopening of their renovated shelter located at 147 Grassy Plain Street in Bethel, CT.

Rich Minor of 98Q was the guest host for the evening and auctioneer for over 300 attendees. Entertainment was provided by The Hat City Duo and The Bill’s Toupee Band. Guests were greeted on the red carpet by adoptable puppies and enjoyed a delicious dinner. A heartfelt mission video debuted, highlighting the impact fosters make and an inspiring adoption story.

DAWS is grateful to co-chairs Nicole Cossitt-Levy of Impulse Design, John Madaus of Innovation Media, and the committee for making this the most successful Gala. Special thanks to all sponsors and supporters, especially Dr. Vali of Pleasant Paws and Mount Pleasant. Follow this link for a full visual recap: https://www.facebook.com/DAWSpets
