Caring for our animals requires a lot of time, love, money, and supplies. Please help by donating these “Wish List” items, which are the things we use in the day-to-day care of our animals and shelter operations.  The items we need most are in bold. You can collect and drop off yourself or simply use our Amazon.com or Chewy.com wish list!

We also encourage you to hold a “Donation Drive” for the shelter at your school, place of employment, neighborhood, with your civic organization, youth group, or troop.

Dropping off Donations

All donations can be dropped off  Monday – Friday, 11AM-7PM and Saturday-Sunday, 11AM-7PM.

If you need assistance with your donation or are dropping off a donation from a collection drive, please email daws@daws.org to schedule your donation drop-off.

You can find directions to the shelter, which is located at 147 Grassy Plain Street in Bethel, CT on our Visit Us page. Danbury Animal Welfare Society, Inc. is a 501(c)3 charitable organization and your donation is tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law; ask for a receipt!
